About

So you’ve stumbled across my little part of the world wide web, pretty neat, eh? Most of the posts you’ll see on here revolve somewhat around task automation through shell scripting. Nothing too complex, and anyone with a background in scripting and UNIX should be able to pick it up, modify and reuse for their own purpose.

Now a little blurb about myself 🙂
I’ve been working as a systems administrator for a little over 7 years now. I’ve had exposure to a number of operating systems (AIX, Red Hat, Fedora, Slackware, FreeBSD, NetBSD, Windows), and also the applications which most businesses tend to run on them (Apache, MySQL, PHP, Oracle, BIND, DHCP). My current job also exposes me to IBM Tivoli Storage Manager (TSM), IBM Clusters (HA) & IBM DS4000 series SAN’s…notice the trend? 😉

If you feel the urge to contact me, please do so via the contact page.

Happy reading.
